Jacqueline Wambui serves as the Global CAB Facilitator at the Afrocab Treatment Access Partnership. She has a background in HIV counselling and training and is an HIV-positive treatment and prevention activist. Jacqueline is particularly passionate about advocating for the rights of HIV-positive individuals and AGYW (Adolescent Girls and Young Women). With over 10 years of experience, she has been actively involved in programs focused on HIV, sexual and reproductive health, and rights regionally and globally. Jacqueline has led various advocacy campaigns for people living with HIV and AGYW in Kenya, as well as at regional and global levels. Additionally, she co-led the FASTER Pediatric and Adolescent CAB and works as a consultant with AVAC. Jacqueline is also a member of the AWPCAB and was honoured with the AIDS 2020 Women, Girls, and HIV Investigator’s Prize.
