The Shape of Sovereignty is a focused IAS 2026 session bringing together government decision-makers, civil society leaders, funding partners and technical experts to advance African-led financing for HIV prevention.
The session will move beyond debate towards specific, time-bound commitments that can be followed over 12 months. Discussions will focus on strengthening accountability, protecting community-based prevention programmes and placing women’s leadership at the centre of health decision-making.
