The African Women Prevention Community Accountability Board (AWPCAB) is a powerful collective of women and girls committed to advancing HIV prevention programs and strategies that centre the voices and needs of African women.

Who We Are

Bringing women and girls to the centre of HIV prevention

AWPCAB is a collective of 14 women from 7 countries across Eastern & Southern Africa, advocates, executive directors, researchers, and community leaders who share a deep commitment to HIV prevention choice.

At the heart of our advocacy is the CHOICE Manifesto: a bold declaration that champions comprehensive, women-centred HIV prevention solutions. Together, we ensure the experiences and priorities of African women shape every decision about prevention products, programmes, and investments.
