Why we are calling on you
Women and girls carry the heaviest HIV burden in sub-Saharan Africa. Any disruption in HIV prevention and treatment services therefore puts them at greater risk.
We call on governments, funders, and partners to protect and expand access to the full mix of prevention options, and to centre meaningful community engagement so that the people most affected help shape the response. Hard-won gains can unravel quickly when funding stalls or attention drifts. Choice must not become a casualty of complacency.
