HIV Testing
Testing Preparation Checklist
A few things to sort out before your testing visit.

- Bring an ID if your clinic asks for one (many don't, testing can be anonymous).
- Know the date of your last possible exposure, so the window period can be assessed.
- Write down any questions you want to ask the counsellor.
- Arrange a support person if you'd like someone with you.
- Plan your transport and a time you won't feel rushed.
- Know where you can get your results, and where to access PrEP or PEP if needed.
Educational only, not a medical diagnosis.
